Privacy Policy

This policy describes what Archery Shot Trainer (archeryshotsimulator.com and app.archeryshotsimulator.com) collects, why, and your choices.
What we collect
- Account information — your email address, an optional display name, and a securely hashed password (we never store the password itself). If you sign in with Google, we receive your email and name from Google instead.
- Equipment & preferences — your bow/arrow configuration and trainer settings, so they follow you between sessions.
- Usage data — how you use the trainer: shots taken (scenario, equipment, aim position, outcome), sessions, mode and setting changes. This is how we learn what to improve.
- Feedback — ratings and comments you choose to submit.
- Technical logs — our hosting providers (Google Cloud, Cloudflare) record standard request logs, including IP addresses, for security and operations.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your data, ever.
- We don't email you marketing unless you opted in at signup ("Keep me posted"). You can opt out any time by emailing us or using the unsubscribe link in any update email.
Cookies
The app uses an essential session cookie to keep you signed in. If we introduce additional cookies in the future (for example, for analytics or advertising), we'll update this policy first.
How your data is used
To operate the Service (accounts, saved settings, scores), to understand how the prototype is used so we can improve it, to respond to your feedback, and — only with your consent — to send occasional product updates.
Where it lives
Data is stored in Google Cloud (Firestore, US region). The marketing site is served by Cloudflare. If email features are enabled, transactional email (verification, password reset) is delivered via our email provider. These providers process data on our behalf and don't use it for their own purposes.
Retention & deletion
We keep your data while your account exists. Email [email protected] from your account address to request deletion of your account and associated data — we'll complete it within 30 days.
Children
The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We'll post any changes here with a new effective date. Material changes will be flagged in the app.
